It also consumed less energy.Vincent Presses with friction drive on which forging blow takes place in an upward direction i.e. from bottom towards top. The screw nut is positioned in top cross head of a frame type ram. The screw presses therefore offer higher screw efficiency with identical performance.The ram being moved upward in axial direction by rotation of longitudinally fixed screw. Ejector is provided at lower part of the ram.
